Part 1

Skill Quest Official Rules

Eligibility, how to enter, fair play, and prizes for Skill Quests generally.

1. Overview

Skill Quest (the “Contest”) is a skill contest on talentproof.ai. Each Quest is a public multi-step skill challenge (for example rapid-fire, written Q&A, and Hands-On when configured for that Quest). Rankings use objective scoring from the Quest. Chance does not determine the winner.

The 5-Minute Knowledge Dare on /dare is a separate practice product and is not this Contest.

This Contest is void where prohibited. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and any Quest-specific addendum published for that Quest.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence, if higher).

You must be signed in with a TalentProof account that has a valid email address to start a Quest attempt and to appear on the public completers board.

You may practice on /dare from anywhere the product is available. Prize eligibility for a given Quest follows that Quest’s published requirements (for example a transferable event pass, or a PayPal account that can receive USD). The Sponsor may publish an eligible-country list or exclude jurisdictions at any time.

Employees, contractors, and household members of the Sponsor are not eligible for prizes. One person may use only one account. Multi-accounting or botting is grounds for disqualification.

3. How to enter

Open an active Quest from the Skill Quest hub (/skill-quest) or from that Quest’s page, complete the challenge steps for that Quest, and submit. Integrity and proctoring follow the settings configured for that Quest.

No purchase is required to enter. Attempt limits, if any, are stated on the Quest page.

Your best completed attempt for that Quest (by skill score, then authenticity or time as shown on the board) counts for ranking when a prize is offered.

4. Winner determination (skill)

Scoring follows the Quest’s configuration (step scores, gates, and integrity signals). Ranking uses skill metrics from the Quest scorecard. Ties use the next skill criterion. The Sponsor will not break ties by random draw.

The Sponsor’s scoring systems and board records are final, subject to verification for eligibility and fair play.

5. Prizes (when offered)

When the Sponsor announces a cash prize for a Quest, the default purse is One Hundred US Dollars (USD $100), paid by PayPal cash transfer to one verified winner, unless a different amount or non-cash prize is clearly stated for that Quest.

If no prize is announced, the public completers board still operates. No prize is owed.

Prize value may be taxable income to the winner under applicable law. The winner is solely responsible for any taxes. The Sponsor may require Form W-9 (or equivalent) before fulfillment when required for tax reporting.

Potential winners must claim promptly after notification (within fourteen (14) days unless a shorter window is stated for that Quest). Failure to claim, failure to provide required fulfillment details, or failure to complete verification forfeits the prize. The Sponsor may award to the next eligible ranked entrant.

6. Publicity

By completing a Quest, you agree that your display name, profile handle (if any), score signals, and a link to your public scorecard may be shown on the Quest completers board.

7. Fair play

The Sponsor may disqualify entries that involve cheating, automation, multi-accounting, exploiting bugs, or conduct that undermines fair skill competition.

8. Product nature

Each Quest is a TalentProof skill challenge with the steps and integrity controls configured for that Quest. When proctoring and validation are enabled, completion can produce a verified TalentProof scorecard that may be shown publicly.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SPONSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR TECHNICAL FAILURES, LOST DATA, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE SITE. THE CONTEST IS PROVIDED AS-IS.

9. Governing law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer law applies.

10. Sponsor contact

Part 2

AI at Work Quest (flagship)

The following terms apply only to the flagship Quest “AI at Work Quest”. They supplement the Official Rules above.

A. Contest window & ranking

The flagship Skill Quest window runs with a live target of September 27, 2026 (America/Los_Angeles). Winner selection is targeted for September 30, 2026 (PT).

Completed Quest attempts during the contest window count toward ranking for the flagship prize.

Among entrants who pass BOTH the MCQ/rapid-fire leg and the Hands-On leg (each at or above the stated pass bar), the Sponsor ranks by the equal-weight mean of MCQ% and Hands-On% (or Overall Skill % from Quest scoring). Tie-break: earlier completion time, then authenticity if available. Top two scorers (1st and 2nd) each receive a Founder–BOGO pass.

B. Prize eligibility

For the flagship prize, you must be able to receive a TechCrunch/Bizzabo ticket transfer (legal name + email for the official transfer form) and must not reside where the Contest is prohibited.

C. Prizes

Flagship prize (AI at Work Quest): two transferable TechCrunch Founder–BOGO passes — one for 1st place and one for 2nd place among qualified scorers (inventory includes ticket #49700818, order #26757869). Each pass is transferred via the official TechCrunch/Bizzabo transfer form. Target transfer by October 1, 2026; hard stop 2026-10-02T23:59:59-07:00 (October 2, 2026 11:59pm America/Los_Angeles). PayPal cash is NOT used for this contest. Prize label: Two TechCrunch Founder–BOGO Passes (1st & 2nd) (2 slots).

Potential winners must claim promptly after notification (within the shorter transfer window when it applies). Failure to claim, failure to provide a valid legal name and email for ticket transfer, or failure to complete verification forfeits the prize. The Sponsor may award to the next eligible ranked entrant.

D. Founding Agentic Engineer tag

Passing both required legs awards a verified profile tag “Founding Agentic Engineer” plus a shareable/public scorecard when posted.
